Morning: Planning & Site Assessments
My day starts with reviewing project blueprints and checking weather conditions—crucial for installations. If we have a new site, I head there to assess sun exposure, roof angles, and shading to determine the best solar panel placement.
Midday: Installation & Troubleshooting
Once planning is done, it's time to get hands-on. Whether it’s mounting solar panels, connecting wiring, or configuring inverters, every detail matters. If there's an issue, I troubleshoot by checking electrical connections and ensuring optimal power output.
Afternoon: System Testing & Client Consultations
Before wrapping up, I test the system’s performance, measure energy output, and ensure seamless grid integration. I also walk clients through their new system, showing them how to track their energy production.
Challenges & Rewards
Challenge: Working in extreme weather can be tough.
Reward: Seeing a project come to life and knowing I’m contributing to a clean energy future is unbeatable!
