At the 31st edition of the international “Klik Ekspo Group” Fair in Tirana, two companies from the United States of America are participating.
Amir Fardhabibi, manager at Solenergy Solutions, told KosovaPress that this is the first time they are participating as exhibitors at this fair.
“This is the first time we are participating as exhibitors and also my first time visiting Albania; everything has been very good so far. There are two American companies here: Solar Energy and BEAM, and I believe the American Chamber of Commerce as well. So, to my knowledge, there are two American companies taking part. From a business perspective, this is a developing market that offers many opportunities across different sectors. Now is the right moment to explore the market, ahead of major initiatives like ‘Albania 2030,’ because the market is growing rapidly and new developments are happening every day. It is always worthwhile to consider developing markets, as these are the places entering a new phase of growth and creating opportunities for the local community, jobs, and a more sustainable economy,” he concluded.
He says they are aiming for sustainable solutions in solar energy and energy storage.
“We are a renewable energy development company based in Southern California. We are currently exploring new opportunities in the Western Balkans, in countries such as Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro. Our team has over two decades of international experience in solar energy projects and battery energy storage systems. We have completed major projects in the US, Europe, and the Middle East, including North America, Canada, and South America. Today, we are participating in the Klik Expo Group International Fair, the Tirana International Fair. We are collaborating with local partners and institutions with the goal of building partnerships in the early stages of the country’s development. Our objective is to bring sustainable, reliable, and well-engineered solutions in solar energy and energy storage, contributing to energy independence and economic growth, because the Western Balkans has great potential for new opportunities of this kind,” he said.
The Solenergy Solutions manager adds that the fair creates opportunities for all participating companies to collaborate on various projects.
“First of all, this fair provides opportunities for all companies to connect with each other: non-governmental organizations, local partners, utility companies, independent system operators, and power generation companies. It is a very good platform for networking and collaborating at different stages of a project. For the country—especially in our field of work—Albania offers strong potential with high solar irradiation and a landscape well-suited for this type of project,” he said.
Over 250 companies from more than 20 countries worldwide are taking part in the fair. The KosovaPress News Agency is also participating, where many visitors today had the opportunity to learn about its history, work, and services at the booth.
The motto of this 31st edition is “Window to the Future,” focusing on the sustainable development of “Albania 2030.”
