The project aimed to expand production capacity, optimize the water injection system, and ensure compliance with stringent reliability and safety standards.
Challanges
Managing the reliability of water injection pumps and gathering stations to minimize downtime. Ensuring process safety in a high-H2S environment while maintaining system availability. Optimizing maintenance strategies to reduce operational costs while maximizing uptime.
Solution
Conducted a comprehensive RAM analysis to assess equipment availability and determine potential failure points in the water injection system.
Developed predictive maintenance strategies based on historical failure data, allowing for early detection of performance degradation.
Implemented a risk-based inspection (RBI) methodology to enhance asset integrity management.
Led HAZOP and SIL workshops to ensure that all safety-critical elements were adequately addressed in the design phase.
